The Pink City, Jaipur
The capital city of Rajasthan is one of the famous tourist attractions of India. Jaipur is in the top list of holiday destinations among other cities in India. The city was found by the King of Amer, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, during his reign from 1699 to 1743 He constructed most of the city’s transport roads, palaces, etc. Now the Capital here is also known as the PINK CITY. The history behind the name is, In 1876 during the kingship of the new ruler Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh I the city was painted pink to greet the Prince of wale and after that to greet Edward VII. Today also the buildings and palaces remain pink as before so because of it’s color and beauty the name Pink City was given to the Capital. The Pink City, Jaipur Rajasthan.

I. Jantar Mantar
The place consists of astronomical instruments and buildings which was made by King Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734. The place is selected as a world heritage site by UNESCO and it consists of worlds largest sundial made of stone. It was built to observe astronomical positions. So if you are interested in astronomy then this place will please you.
II. Hawa Mahal
The palace here was built by the King Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. The palace is constructed of 5 story exterior with the total of 953 not so big windows which make the palace unique and somewhat similar to a honeycomb. The windows were made for the royal women to watch the festivals celebrated on the road below. The palace now is a tourist attraction because of it’s unique architecture inside and outside both. The pic here is actually the backside of the palace.
III. City Palace
This a palace complex consisting of two major palaces which include MUBARAK MAHAL and CHANDRA MAHAL. The place here consists of beautiful gardens, courtyards, and buildings which are the most attractive things here Kings and there ministers used to gather here for meetings and all. Tourists are attracted here because of its wonderful architecture and paintings also.
IV. Jal Mahal
People here usually come here only by hearing the name of the palace which in Hindi is called JAL MAHAL meaning the water palace. The palace is situated in the middle of the man Sagar Lake. The beauty of the palace can be seen normally at night when the lighting of the palace reflects over the water which makes the palace more beautiful. The palace is of 5 storied building the photo here is showing only top two floors the remaining floors is under water, this happens when the lake is full eventually. The bad news is visitors can’t visit the palace but you can always have a good photo-shoot from a distance getting palace as your background.
V. Amer Fort
The fort here is a huge tourist attraction and is also under UNESCO as a world heritage site because of its unique architecture and beautiful carvings inside the fort. It is just above the Maota lake which is also the main water source for the fort. The fort has 4 levels of floors and in each layer, there is a beautiful courtyard. To visit this place will be very wonderful experience because of it’s historical beauty.
VI. Jaigarh FortThis fort is right above overlooking the Amer Fort over Cheel ka Teela (Hills Of Eagles). The Jaigarh Fort was built to guard the Amer Fort from enemies. The fort here consists of large canons among which there is one huge canon named “JAIVANA” which was then the biggest in the world.
